Quizzes - There will be 10 quizzes worth 10 points each that will be taken on line. You may use your notes for these quizzes. The quiz questions may be on the midterm and final so use them wisely. Each quiz must be completed by noon on the date designated on the syllabus.
Activities - There will be 10 activities required for the successful completion of this course. Each activity is worth 10 points and will be graded based on content. The assignment is due in the "ANGEL drop box" by noon on the dates shown on the syllabus outline. For every day an activity is late 1 point will be deducted from the starting score of 10.
Presentation - The presentation topic will be on one of the ten activities, it will be your choice as to what activity you pick. The length of the presentation should be 15 minutes in length and there will be 5 minutes allowed for questions. Those who ask questions will receive points for participation. The presentation must use visuals and be presented in a way that notes can be readily taken. The presentation will be worth 50 points.
Participation and Attendance - Participation and attendance throughout the course will be worth 50 points. The individuals who come prepared for class and actively participate will be given these points. Participation points are NOT a given so if you do not participate you will not receive these points. If you have to miss a class, a doctor's note or other forms of documentation must be provided in order to receive an excused absence.
