Educational Programs:

  • Hort 352, Flower Arranging
  • Hort 450, Greenhouse Management
  • Hort 453, Flower Crop Production and Management

Research Interests:

Growth regulator effects on flowering and plant height of greenhouse flowering crops. This includes methods of application of growth regulators in conjunction with recycling nutrient solutions. Adaption of new plant species, such as herbaceous perennials, as flowering potted plants by using growth regulators or new production techniques like hydroponics. Examination of growing media physical characteristics, predominantly water and air, that affect plant growth.
